Chrome overtakes IE 8 as Popular Internet Browser

Microsoft's pre-installed internet browser, Internet Explorer 8, has been moved down on the popularity list by Google's own, new browser, Google Chrome. StatCounter recorded internet data from both browsers over the course of last month and found that IE8 dropped to 23.5% as Chrome held a solid 25%. Still, Internet Explorer takes 38.5% of the global market for browsers, it is unknown how Chrome will do in the future though.
